Saturday:
Come and join our local residents as we prepare to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee with a planting day at the top of Westcourt Road. We will be planting flowers, and preparing to put in our new landmark: our jubilee, christmas tree! You could plant flowers, paint edges or our community noticeboards or come along and meet us over a tea and a biscuit.
Sunday:
Celebrate the jubilee with the ceremonial opening of the Jubilee tree, followed by a party in Sunnyside Park. The more the merrier. We are looking for volunteers and other local groups to come together and help us make this day one that will live long in the memory.
